What does this mean? Well, it means that administration becomes much easier and you don't have to change / update data in multiple systems / resources (for example, different Word or Excel files), saving many man hours.
AviX Shop Floow Viewer interface (Work Instructions) is designed to be easy and practical to use. For example, having visual buttons to advance / go back in the instruction even with the option to add video of the activity which is a much appreciated feature in AviX; the link to a video shows the step of the process. The same video sequence used in the method study is also available in the selected task of the Work Instruction for the selected operator through the interface.
This means that all users (operators, engineers, etc.) will always be using and working based on the same information data-base, video sequence and/or standard method on-line and web-based. It really makes communication and teamwork much more efficient and easy.
AviX Shop Floor Viewer performs as a "ready to use" web server (software) that may be installed locally on the network and which would provide access to the work instructions. From a technical systems perspective, this is as simple as installing google chrome or the rest of AviX, this means a very simple installation and configuration and very low cost.
AviX Shop Floor Viewer is the perfect solution for digital work instructions. The management of method, time and movement data is done within AviX, but with the advantage that it can be published for access through a web browser. This is a great benefit as it ensures that the operator always has easy access to the latest updated version of the work instructions and the ability to access video of the operation!
